Covid-19 popularly known
as Coronavirus is one of the most deadliest threats in the history of human civilization.
Covid-19 is an ‘inflectional disease’ which is spread by the virus named ‘SARS-CoV-2’.
It is somehow different from common flues due to its rapid speed of spreading.
Covid-19 gets transmits human to human by air thorough coughing, sneezing. Wuhan
city of China was the place where the virus was detected in human body.
According to some scientists, the virus was
transmitted to human-body via bats. Several
variants of Covid-19 has been already detected throughout the world. (Delta,
Omicron, Alpha, Beta etc. are some of those variants of Covid-19). The very first
case of Covid-19 was detected on December 2019 and its first case in India was
reported on January 27, 2020. The most common symptom of Covid-19 is fever,
cough, shortness in breath etc. Usually Covid-19 is recoverable but it can be
fatal for people with other severe diseases. It usually takes about 1 week for
symptoms to show once a person is affected by Coronavirus and about 2 weeks from
the date of detection for a person to recover from it. Frequent use of alcohol
based hand sanitizer / soap and use of proper masks can decrease the
transmission of the virus to a great extent. (Scientists across the globe have
already discovered vaccines against Covid-19 that bring down the transmission
and the fatality rate of covid-19 to a great extent. In our country also,
millions of people have got vaccinated so far.)
